Welcome
to my website, which provides some information about my novels. I was born on an Israeli kibbutz near the Lebanese border and lived there until I was seven. My parents then left for Montreal, their place of birth, and I returned to Jerusalem at age 18 to do a BA and MA in English Literature. After
five years of studies I moved back to Canada, where I completed an MA
and PhD in Jewish Studies at McGill, in Biblical Exegesis, and an MA in
Creative Writing at Concordia University. I taught for two decades
(Holocaust Studies, Hebrew Literature and Biblical Exegesis at McGill,
Creative Writing at Concordia University, and English Literature at
John Abbott College). My most recent novels are The Saver (for teen readers)
and Your Sad Eyes and
Unforgettable Mouth. For the Pauline btw series (ages
10-14), please see AugustaPLemarre.com I
have a daughter, Larissa, who is twenty-one, and we live in Guelph,
Ontario. So
much for the glossy-finish, back-cover bio, which leaves out all the
important things. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to
write. I answer all emails, but the service is not always
reliable, so if you don’t receive an answer, it’s because your letter
never arrived. Please try again. Fiction by Edeet |
