A Boy is Not A Bird
Based on actual events, A Boy Is Not a Bird tells the story of Natt Silver, a boy who loses almost all that he has when the new Russian leader, Joseph Stalin, who seemed so kind at first, brings about catastrophic changes in Natt's life. As the Nazis invade Russian-held Bukovina during World War II, Natt and his mother are shipped off to Siberia, where an unknown future awaits them. The only thing Natt is sure about is that Siberia is vast -- and very, very cold.
